Bathing Beauties XII

Gladys Atkins only appeared in three films from 1919 until 1922.

Josephine Banks only appeared in two shorts, both in 1918.

Eleanor Black (sometimes used the spelling "Elinor") appeared in seven films from 1916 until 1928. She also wrote a film short, He Answered the Ad, in 1913 which starred John Bunny and Flora Finch.

Lois Boyd appeared in 25 films and shorts from 1919 until 1927.

Claire Cushman (sometimes used the spelling "Clair") appeared in seven films from 1924 until 1926.

Nancy Hellman appeared in only three film shorts from 1926 until 1928.

Hi Jessica, it's Barbara (anonymous, still working on this getting a name thing) thank you so much for the Bathing Beauty thread, I know there may be more coming but wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed this. I have an old book called Hollywood the years of Innocence by John Kobal. The book is mainly pictures from a photographer named Nelson Evans. There are a lot of amazing pics from the very early 1910's and the section he has on the Bathing beauties is one of my fav parts. some of the girls are named but quite a few are not and I recognized some of them from your thread. That is where I got that quote "young mermaids forever on the edge of the surf". Thanks again for all the work you did getting the info on these ladies!!

    1. Thank you, Barbara! Looks like I am gonna have to look up that book on Amazon! I have a couple books of photos by John Kobal and I ended up cutting them out and had them hanging on my bedroom and kitchen walls.
