Bathing Beauties XIII

Anita Barnes appeared in 20 films and shorts from 1927 until 1932. She passed away in 1984 in Dallas, Texas.

Dolly Beal (also used the name Dorothy Beale) appeared in four shorts from 1914 until 1922.

Rose Carter had only one credited film appearance, in the 1917 short, A Counterfeit Scent.

Dorothy Dee appeared in two films from 1919 until 1920. She was a Hal Roach Bathing Beauty.

Margaret Hampton had only three film credits from 1926-1927, and one television appearance in 1958.

Virginia Warwick moved to California from St. Louis with her parents when she was still a child. She briefly attended finishing school in Los Angeles, but dropped out to begin working as an actress. She appeared in 25 films/shorts from 1919 until 1926. Like many of her fellow Bathing Beauty friends, she was an excellent swimmer and was captain of her high school basketball team. She was married to actor Jimmie Adams, but I am unsure of the dates.

  1. A great way to end the year with these bathing beauties. I hang my head low for the wonderful Louise Rainier

    1. Yes, Luise's death is just another reminder that all the greats are pretty much gone. :(
